World Champion Simona Halep (Romania) won for the second time the tennis tournament predicted by live betting odds in the Chinese city of Shenzhen with a prize pool of 750, 000 dollars. Halep defeated last year`s champion and sixth in Katerina Siniakova (Czech Republic) with 6:1, 2:6, 6:0 in 72 minutes.
The duel was moved to a hall and started 6 hours late for rain. The Romanian took the first set with a series of five consecutive games, but in the second part 47th in the world Sienakova realized three breaks and equalized the result.
In the decisive third set, Halep was unappealing and picked up the trophy again in Shenzhen after 2015.
This was the 16th title of the Romanian career. Halep triumphed in the race of couples again after success over Sienakova. Her Romanian and compatriot Irina-Kamelia Begu won the finals against 1:6, 6:1, 10-8 against Chenniki Siniakova and Borbaro Kraishchkova.
