Emery and Cech supported Yossil`s decision

Arsenal manager Unai Emery and Peter Cech`s goalie stood behind gunman Mesut Jocil in a move to withdraw from Germany`s national team. Then a war broke out between the playmaker and the German Football Union after he blamed the federation for racism and disrespect for his photo with Turkey`s President Recep Erdogan. This is a personal decision that I respect. We are his home and family. We`ll help him feel good. He feels he can work here every day and it is good that he has come to train for the upcoming two controls. He feels good to us, Emery said.

As a team, we support him and we try to make him feel good to be able to train and show the best of himself. That`s all we can do. Obviously his decision is his and everyone must respect that.

There is constant criticism in football and not always the right attitude towards the player. Football attracts so many people and opinions and so is so. As a professional footballer, this should not interfere with your performance. That`s what you have to do - play well and all critics will disappear, `said Cech.
