Crystal Palace stopped City`s game, missed a penalty at the end

After 18 consecutive wins in the league, Manchester City lost points. Crystal Palace is the team that managed to stop the team of Josep Guardiola. Selhurst Park ended 0:0, but the hosts have something to regret because they missed a penalty in the last minutes. Ederson saved the blow of Luka Milivojevich from the white point. The City Manager is not particularly worried about the first loss points in August. The more unpleasant news about him is the injuries that Gabriel Jesse and Kevin De Bourne have received. Pallas was also forced to replace two - Scott Dan and Jason Punchon.

Equality `Citizens` have a 14 point lead over Chelsea. They did not finish the year with a victory in 2013, and for the third season they ended up with a draw. Manchester City started confidently and could already take the lead in the fourth minute. Bernardo Silva shoots from a good position but still out of the way. Seconds later, Gundogan entered the field but his attempt to find a teammate was interrupted. After the first few moments in which the demons looked worried, they organized and began to organize their usual counterattacks, relying on Zahah and searching for Benteke. The Belgian striker suddenly got a chance to find the result by partners of live-stream at the ninth minute thanks to Mangalla. The defender did not get along with Ederson, and in an attempt to clear the goalkeeper, he was aiming at the Frenchman as the ball reached Benneteau and the door was emptied. Mangala managed to deflect the striker`s strike. This period, however, gave Palas confidence and they played a little more calmly. Both teams lost one major footballer early on. Scott Dan was injured after breaking off against De Bourne and replaced by Martin Kelly. Gabriel Jesse also left the pitch. The Brazilian received the injury at the start of the game but was replaced in the 23r d minute when he saw that he could not continue. Zesus left with tears in his eyes, and Sergio Aguero entered in his place.

A few minutes after appearing on the field, Aguero hit a beam. The Argentine was allowed to shoot a little in front of the penalty area, the ball deviated to a host of the host and hit the outside of the right side pillar. Palace did two good attacks, but the ending pass was missing. Overall, Hodgson`s team managed to limit City`s attacking players to the break. The Guardiola`s team had a hard time setting in the second half. Within an hour, Gundogan`s shot went off the door. Shortly thereafter, he left the field and Stirling appeared in his place. Gradually, City`s pressure grew, and Sane was close to a goal.

On the whole, the home defending managed, and in the 79th minute Palace had the chance to shock the leader. After shaking, the ball came to Townsend, who, from a brilliant position, fired over the d oor.

It was obvious that the meeting would end without goals when several dramatic episodes came to an end. At the last minute of the regular time, the referee ordered a penalty shot for Pallas for a Sterling offense against Zaha. Luka Milivojevic, however, fired in the middle of the door and saved Ederson.
