Napoli is ready to triple the salary of Simone Verdi to persuade him to accept the transfer proposal to San Paolo in January. Bologna`s winger is heavily wished by Neapolitan coach Maurizio Sarri, even believing that the two clubs predicted by livescores have agreed on a deal worth 24m euros.
For the time being, however, Verdi is delaying the transfer. He is not entirely convinced that it is appropriate to change club membership in the middle of the season. That`s why Napoli will try to tempt him to change his mind with a serious salary. San Paolo is ready to offer him a 4-year contract with an option for another, and the player`s remuneration will be 1, 7 million euros per season, with additional bonuses up to 2 million. Currently, Verdi takes much less in Bologna, where he scores against 650, 000 euros per year.
