The team of Trencin won for the first time in the history, the title in Slovakia. In this way, the team is right among the likely contenders of our Ludogorets in the second qualifying round of the Champions League where the Bulgarians will be placed.
Among the possible opponents Ludogorets will certainly have: Dila Gori (Georgia), Astana (Kazakhstan), Levadia Tallinn (Estonia), Crusders (North Ireland), Vardar (Macedonia), Starnan (Iceland), Santa Coloma (Andorra), Dundalk (Ireland), Hibernians (Malta).
In the 31st round of the Slovak championship, Trencin defeated Dukla with 1:0 and became unreachable for the stalker Zilina, who fell behind by eight points. Zilina fell from last year`s champion Slovan Bratislava with 1:3.
