The MorningStar DBRS agency improved Barcelona`s credit rating. The credit rating of the Catalan club was increased from stable to positive. This decision is due to the improvement of the financial indicators of Barcelona over the past two seasons, expectations of further improvement due to the increase in income in connection with the return of the club to the Kampa NOU stadium, as well as to effective control of expenses carried out with the support of UEFA and LA LIGA.
Morningstar DBRS predicts that the club`s revenue in 2027 will reach 1, 1 billion euros. The experts came to this conclusion, based on the assumption that Barcelona would return to the Kampa NOU and in each season will take 2nd place in La League and reach the 1/4 finals of the Champions League.
The agency also expects that the EBITDA indicator (profit before deducting interest expenses, taxes, wear and depreciation), without taking into account profit from players transfers, will amount to about 90 million euros in the 2025 financial year and about 100 million euros for the financial year in the medium term.
