Everton lost key players for the final

Although it managed to defeat in the first semifinal match of the League Cup against Manchester City, Everton`s chances of getting to the finish decreased dramatically. The team lost two key players for the battle with the Citizens on Wednesday night.
The manager Roberto Martinez admitted that he will not be able to use Kevin Miralas and Mohammed Besic, who received injuries in the team`s last match against Swansea on Sunday. They lost with 1:2.
The Bosnian footballer got a trauma of the underknee ligament and was replaced another in the 11th minute from Tom Cleverly. The Belgian did stay only until the 28th minute on the pitch and quit because of knee problems.
`I don`t know how serious their injuries are, but certainly won`t be able to use them on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it may be that I`m going to be without them for quite a long period. This is very unfortunate because they were amazing in recent matches via 11livestream and started to impose in the team.`
`But there`s no way, there`s just us 5 games for the last 13 days and fatigue respectively and injuries, gain. That`s why I`m very grateful to Phil Jagielka, who only returned from treatment and have already played three games in seven days. But he will have to play more.`, said Martinez.
