The Italian champion Juventus and Leonardo Bonucci began negotiations for a new contract, the media reported.
The leadership of `the old lady` intends to raise the salary of 29-year-old footballer seriously. Manchester City was showing an interest in him during the summer. Currently, the player takes 3.5 million euros a year, but his salary is expected to jump to 5 million euros. The agreement will be extended by one year, until 2021.
The two sides have already held a meeting on the case and is expected to have no setbacks in re-signing since Bonucci`s desire is to continue playing in Juve.
